Our fresh bunch carrots are as popular for their delicious taste as they are for their nutritional value. Bunch carrots have high levels of antioxidant beta-carotene and are low in calories. They arrive with their greens intact, ready to be roasted whole or peeled and chopped any way you like.
Remove the greens from your bunch carrots as soon as possible, cutting them about 2 inches above the root. Wrap the carrots in a paper towel, place them in a plastic bag, and store them in the refrigerator. You can also use a perforated bag to prevent condensation. Avoid storing carrots near ethylene-producing fruits and vegetables, such as apples or pears. Ethylene is a natural gas that causes produce to ripen faster.
